If you have a well-organized Excel spreadsheet and want to convert it into a Ragic database sheet for data management, here are four ways to do it.
If you haven’t created a sheet yet, you can create one by importing your Excel file. The system will automatically generate the corresponding fields and records based on the content of your file, allowing you to quickly build your sheet structure.
If you’ve already created a related sheet and need to upload a large amount of data from Excel, you can Import the spreadsheet directly. Make sure the field names and formats match, and the system will map the data accordingly.
For smaller Excel files, you can use the Ragic AI "Data Entry" feature. Simply upload the file, and the system will automatically read its content and populate the corresponding fields. This is ideal for one-time or small-scale imports, for example, sign-up forms or survey results.
If your Excel data is stored online and updated regularly, you can use the Periodic Import from URL feature to automatically sync it to your sheet on a set schedule.
